Is it really free?
Yes. There is no trial, no paid tier and no account.
Are my files uploaded?
No. A file is read by code running in your browser and is not sent to our servers. You can confirm this in your browser developer tools, Network tab.
Which browsers work?
Current desktop versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. The editors use WebGPU when it is available and fall back to WebGL2 where the editor supports it.
Why can’t my phone open it?
The editors use desktop-style menus and shortcuts, so a phone is a poor fit. Copy the link and open it on a computer.
Which editors are online today?
All 13: photo, vector, video, RAW photo, PDF, motion graphics, page layout, document, audio, slides, CAD, spreadsheet and UI design. The larger ones (PDF, document, slides, page layout, vector, video and motion graphics) download 28 to 57 MB the first time, and your browser keeps them afterwards.
Is it affiliated with Adobe or Microsoft?
No. AnyEdit is an independent site. Product names appear only to describe which file formats an editor can open.
How do I save my work?
Save and Export download a file to your device. The editors do not autosave, so save before you close the tab. The exception is FigCraft (the UI design editor): in our test its browser version could not open or save files yet, so use its desktop app for files.
